Zone Mbpark Mont Blanc is looking for a lifeguard for its summer season!

The Mbpark Zone is: a water course, wakeboarding, volleyball, catering, kayaking, paddle boarding, mountain biking and more!

MAIN DUTIES :

Working in collaboration with the lifeguard, you will help to maintain a climate of safety, by supervising users of the Mont Blanc Adrenalin Zone. In short, you'll :

  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Prohibit access to the lake and beach when it is impossible to ensure the safety of bathers (e.g. thunderstorms).
  • Promote water safety to customers (use of life jackets)
  • Make sure the site is safe and clean
  • Participate in opening and closing procedures

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • You have an aptitude for working with the public;
  • You have the ability to respect and enforce rules;
  • You have good analytical and observational skills.
  • You are bilingual (an asset)
  • You care about working safely
  • You must be available for the entire duration of the job.
  • You are known for your independence, resourcefulness and initiative.

Your daily routine :           

  • Advise management on human resources orientations;

  • Develop, update and enforce government policies, procedures and legislation;

Your profile, you have :

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or relations Any other combination of education and experience will be considered;
  • 2 years' experience in a generalist role;
  • Enjoy recruiting and are comfortable using social media as a source of recruitment;
  • Be available about ten Saturdays during the winter season;
  • Organizational skills, analytical mind, team player, proactive, autonomous and rigorous;

Ski MontBlanc 4 Saisons is looking for a mountain enthusiast to join our Operations Department. You will work under the supervision of the lift manager.

MANDATE

- Keep an up-to-date register of products in stock and communicate requirements
- Suggest solutions to the various problems encountered
- Keep equipment-specific maintenance log up to date

TEAM
Includes two assistant mechanics and two industrial mechanics.

  • Salary: 19.30$ to 24.40$ /hr depending on experience, responsibilities and availability

WE WOULD LIKE TO MEET YOU IF :

  • You have experience as a patroller or first aid/medical technician or in the bicycle industry.
  • You hold a valid or renewable first-aid certificate of 40 hours or more (e.g. Alpine Patroller, Sirius MedX, First Responder, Ambulance Attendant, etc.) or a commitment to follow a training course.
  • You have an advanced level of mountain biking (able to ride black trails with ease).
  • You have a good sense of priorities, initiative and resourcefulness.
  • You are in good physical condition
  • You're known for keeping your cool in emergency situations.
  • You are relatively bilingual (an asset)
  • You have ATV riding experience (an asset)
  • You have Class A or B lift evacuation training (an asset)
