Safety rules
- It is mandatory to obtain a day pass or your season pass. Access to the lifts requires a ticket or season pass.
- It is forbidden to visit the climbing areas in pre-season or post-season due to the dangers of snowmaking, grooming and maintenance operations.
- Check and respect the opening and closing rules for slopes and climbing trails.
- At all times, respect the schedule and the ascent and descent zones determined by Ski Mont-Blanc.
- At all times, you must leave the station before 4:15 pm. Last lift at 3:30pm.
- Climb only in designated areas and at the edge of the runway. Check the zones according to the schedule.
- At all times, it is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to descend on climbing trails or on closed or non-designated trails.
- If you encounter a vehicle (snow groomer, snowmobile), please stop at the edge of the trail and let it pass.
- Stay visible and ride in single file, never two abreast.
- When the ascent trail crosses a ski run, give way to downhill skiers and do not cross in a group.
- At all times, use skis or an alpine board equipped with metal squares and brakes or restraint straps.
- Ski Mont-Blanc reserves the right to charge a minimum fee of 250 $ for any request for assistance outside its opening hours or outside its marked and open ski runs. There may be a delay for rescue following a report.
- The ascent trails are not patrolled, so bring a charged cell phone, but be aware that cell phone service does not extend to all parts of the mountain.
- Don't leave any waste or traces of your passage. Be eco-responsible!
- Animals are not allowed on trails.
- Always observe the Mountain Code of Conduct.
Mountain code of conduct
- Subscribers and day-ticket holders agree to abide by the Mountain Code of Conduct. Code adopted by virtue of the Loi sur la sécurité dans les sports. This code applies to all snow sports enthusiasts.
- Stay in control of your speed and direction. Make sure you can stop and avoid any person or obstacle.
- Yield the right of way to people further down the road and steer in a direction that ensures their safety.
- Stop on a runway only if you can be seen by people above you, and if you are not obstructing the runway.
- Yield to people ahead (higher up) when entering a runway and at intersections.
- If you are involved in or witness an accident, remain at the scene and give your identity to a first-aider.
- Use an appropriate equipment retention system at all times.
- Do not use the lifts or slopes if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Obey all signs and warnings, and never venture off-piste or onto closed trails.
