RULES FOR GOOD SKI MOUNTAINEERING AND TOURING
- You must respect the hours of use of the ascent and descent zone in the trails provided for this purpose at all times. These hours of use are according to the opening hours of the mountain:
Monday-Friday: 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. | Saturday-Sunday: 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m
The downhill ski trails are reserved for downhill skiing. Climbing is only possible on our North side trails. Please refer to the trail map below.
YOU MUST HAVE LEFT BY 4:00 PM
- Stay visible at all times and ride in single file, never two abreast.
- Climb only on designated and marked trails. It is forbidden to descend on the ascent trails.
- It is forbidden to access the closed trails or those undergoing snowmaking. If you pass a motorized vehicle, stop at the edge of the trail and let it pass.
- No waste should be left on the trails or on the grounds. Please be eco-responsible and dispose of your waste in the garbage cans provided.
- Animals are not allowed on the trails.
- The trails are on private land and therefore no commercial activities will be tolerated or accepted.
Mont Blanc reserves the right to charge a fee of $300 or more for all requests for assistance outside of its marked and open ski trails. There may be a delay in responding to a report outside of the resort's hours of operation by dialing 911.
CODE OF CONDUCT
- Before leaving, make sure you are properly dressed. It is often colder at the top.
- Make sure you are physically fit and have the proper equipment. Bring a whistle, food, a change of clothes, a first aid kit and a headlamp.
- Campfires are prohibited at all times.
- Check the mountain's website for safety rules and trail conditions.
- It is not recommended to climb alone. If you are, tell someone close to you that you are going up the mountain. Carry a charged cell phone.
- Be environmentally responsible.

Mont Blanc trails are located on private property owned by Mont Blanc. Any person who does not respect the rules and regulations of the mountain or who uses the trails without authorization or access is liable to a fine.
