A Ski Holiday Christmas at Mont Blanc

The Ho Ho Ho Holidays at Mont Blanc

Mont Blanc was an awesome place to be around during the holidays in December!  The skiing was great with tons of snow and the weather was near-perfect with most days just below zero.

What’s great about the holidays too is that it’s a time when people want to relax and  enjoy just being with each other – which is what Christmas – and skiing – are all about.

This year Santa Claus surprised everyone by showing up on Christmas eve, not just with a visit but by taking a run down the hill with Mont Blanc’s mascot.  Santa seems to find his way back every year…. could be the hot rum & eggnog they serve in the Igloo bar!  Keep in mind Santa also gives out candies to the kids (big kids included at Santa’s discretion).

If you’re thinking about doing some serious skiing next Christmas holidays, I highly recommend it. The feeling at the ski resort is great, and Mont Blanc has some things under its tree that make it a magical week for the whole family including a week of ski classes, special events like the torchlight parade on New Year’s eve, and an apres-ski service that lets parents dine alone while the kids are teamed up with a ski instructor who eats with them around a fire and then takes them sledding or to the Jungle Magique, the Laurentian’s largest indoor play facility.
